Meaning Of Sign

A sign is a signal, object, vision, which has intended meanings, and is used to deliver messages.

Examples Of Sign

1. A smile shows happiness, joyfulness and gladness of heart.

2. A frown means that somebody is not happy, confused or disappointed.

3. A sluggish movement is a sign of bad health or painful experience.

4. A pointing of the finger means warning, directing somebody’s attention to something.

The Benefits Of Sign Language

1. It is a very short and easy way of saying something.

2. It is the language of silence.

3. It is one of the languages of heaven. Among the other languages of heaven are speaking, speaking in tongues and the word of God.

4. A sign is for confirmation.

5. It is for guidance.

6. It is a reminder.

7. It is understood only by those it is meant for.

8. It helps to avoid those whom the message is not meant for.

9. It delivers messages without disturbing to the intended receivers, without disturbing others.

10. The use of sign is a vital aspect of prophecy, which the ministers of God and children of God should know very well. That is why it is both good and compulsory to learn the sign language. The same sign language is used in heaven and in spirit.

11. The use of spoken words, by speaking, is a cumbersome activity, because it uses so much energy and time. But a simple sign is bale to convey as much meaning and information as many words can do. This means that the use of sign is a simple task, while the use of speech is a heavy duty work.

12. The use of sign is a mark of spiritual growth and maturity. It shows the great difference between a master and a student. A master is able to achieve much by using a little effort, while a student achieves little by using much efforts. The fact that humanity are generally communicating by speech shows that majority have not grown in spirit. The more and more people grow in spirit, the less and less they talk often.

13. It is a sign of wisdom and understanding.

14. Today in the world, the ministers of God and children of God are suffering various types of disasters, calamities and strange incidents, because they do understand the signs which the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven are giving to them, from time to time. The signs are meant to warn them, to guide and to protect them. But they still suffer all the disasters, calamities and strange incidents because they do not know the meanings of the signs being given to them, and because they did study Spiritual Science.

15. It is a law of nature that whatever a person fails to learn by the simple way of kindness, he has to learn the same by suffering. Therefore, it is compulsory that people understand the signs being given to them by the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, in order to save themselves from many troubles and consequences.

16. It is a way of saying many things in a very short way. Once the angels show a sign to a ministers of God, they have told the minister all the things the minister should know about. For example, a beast in prophecy means a kingdom. The characteristics of the beast show the characteristics and works of the kingdom referred to. An example is found in the book of Daniel, where a sign, which is the vision of a beast was given with much information in the form of explanations.

17. It enables the handicapped to learn, to know what is being said and to communicate with others.

18. Makes communication with somebody afar possible, which speech cannot do.

19. Reduces noise level.

20. Prevents noise and distractions and disturbances.

21. Establishes communication between the dumb and hearing world.

22. Says many things in a very little time and in a small space.

23. Signs make things easy and available. It removes and prevents the repetition of burdensome tasks. Assuming that you were a speaker, and you have to meet various groups of people in diverse places to repeat the same speech. The best way to make things easy for yourself is to publish your speech in a book. People shall be free to buy copies and read at their various places and times. The book is full of signs – characters, words, statements and drawings, all of which are signs.

24. Besides, if people forget a point, they do not have to come to you, for you to repeat all the speech anytime they need to hear or refer to it. They just have to open their copies of the book and get what they want.

25. Minimizes costs by preventing the use of papers, pen and ink.

26. Enhances space by making books and other writing materials and aids.

27. Maintains necessary secrets, by revealing information to only those who supposed the get the information.

Vision Of The Four Beasts

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.

Daniel spoke, saying, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

"And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: 'Arise, devour much flesh!'

"After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. Daniel 7:1-8

Daniel's Visions Interpreted

"I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.'

"Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet; and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.

"I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

"Thus he said:

'The fourth beast shall be

A fourth kingdom on earth,

Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,

And shall devour the whole earth,

Trample it and break it in pieces.

The ten horns are ten kings

Who shall arise from this kingdom.

And another shall rise after them;

He shall be different from the first ones,

And shall subdue three kings.

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,

Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,

And shall intend to change times and law.

Then the saints shall be given into his hand

For a time and times and half a time.

‘But the court shall be seated,

And they shall take away his dominion,

To consume and destroy it forever.

Then the kingdom and dominion,

And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,

Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

"This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart." Daniel 7”15-28

Another example is found in the book of Revelation.

The Beast From The Sea

Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast , saying, “Who is like the beast ? Who is able to make war with him?"

And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Revelation 13:1-10

The Scarlet Woman And The Scarlet Beast

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS

AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. Revelation 17:1-6

The Meaning Of The Woman And The Beast

But the angel said to me, "Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

"Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time. The beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.

"The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."

Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast , until the words of God are fulfilled. And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth." Revelation 17:7-18
